Before Passwar D landed on the dance floor of a club on the beach of the Black Sea in Sozopol, Bulgaria, this creature of extraterrestrial frequency had no prior experience with sound. Entering earth from the darkness of space, Passwar D was in awe of the power of sound. Upon a chance encounter with Brooklyn-based record producer, Dan Val, the duo managed to transcribe and synthesize Passwar D's own frequencies into recorded sound. Together, they have been making music since, and recording Passwar D's forthcoming debut album "Personal Cosmology". You can listen to and read about the released tracks from the album at Passwardy D's Bandcamp.

While working on "Personal Cosmology", Passwar D embarked on a separate project, "Alien Musings" to express his desire to move the creative pendulum from rational calculation to sensory-driven. This is an ongoing sonic experiment where Passwar D focuses on exploring non-linearity and irrationality. The Dj's Daughter Collective will be publishing each record from the project. Keep an eye on this space.
